"Patriotism is not only a right, but a privilege."

It's been bothering me for over a month now. On the way home, there's a billboard ad that proudly proclaims the above phrase.

IT DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENSE.

I don't entirely remember. I think it looked like the slogan for some group that sounded right-wing and apple pie, I think... I'll get the name the next time I go by.

Congratulations. You appear to current be the #1 google hit for the phrase.

The only other one is someone repeating the phrase in a comment in a different blog.

No idea where it came from.
