Character/Vocabulary section in my first Lv1 practice test?
Juuuuuust passing. I'm not very happy with it, though, as I was guessing on a lot of them. Now, because I've spent most of the past four years studying by immersion, my ability to guess is really what I've been advancing, so maybe it's not that bad, but... meh. I don't like it much.
The "which of the following kanji compounds are read the same way as the example kanji compound", "which of the following sentences contains the kanji that is used in the example sentence, operating only from readings", and "identify the sentence that most closely uses this word the way it should be used" questions were the hardest. I felt entirely out of my depth, and I'm not sure whether I can acquire the appropriate vocabulary in time. However, I've signed up for the test now, and I might as well do my best. The fee is non-refundable. ^^
I still have to do the listening and grammar/reading sections of the test as well, but I think I'm going to put that off until tomorrow. If the listening section is anything like the Lv2 test, I'm going to ace it. However, the Lv2 test didn't have any of those hellish vocabulary problems, either, so it won't pay to be too cocky.
