After playing Super Robot Wars Alpha 2, I can't stand to hear the Blue Danube any longer. You see, there's a boss in the game who hijacks the map theme, and I think it might even override the in-battle music for the characters -- I'm not sure about that, but I know that it does completely override the map theme, and because of hearing it play over and over and over, the Blue Danube now makes me clench my teeth. I mention this now because I have the soundtrack for the game, and that song came on, and while I tried to bear it, I eventually had to skip to the next song in the playlist.
I lost another battle in Spectral Force 3, then managed to squeak out a victory on my second attempt. I don't know whether I'm completely incompetent at the game or whether it's just genuinely difficult.
Um, lessee. Aside from that, still trying to get my head around the architecture for the UI in the game. I've got a general idea, but I'm still not entirely sure how it should work in certain cases, which container classes to use/write, should this widget be part of that class or should it be independent, etc., etc..
