Missed my first NaNo day, when "missed" is defined as "only getting 800 words."

I came home last night after anime, and just fell apart -- my stomach started acting up, I went white as a sheet, dizzy, hot + cold spells, and after searching fruitlessly for a thermometer, I eventually crashed into bed and woke up about two hours later when genedefect came in to check on me. I was feeling so tired, I just said screw it and ignored most of my usual pre-bed absolutions to just conk out. But I'm feeling better this morning. Not sure what all that was about, entirely.

Got a new Zune, and all is well with the world except one, tiny, indispensible little thing.

It doesn't support display of the Japanese character set.

That's like, a fifth of my music titles that show up as boxboxboxboxbox.

Yeah, inability to show foreign character sets has always been a pet peeve of mine with portable mp3 players, considering that a third of my collection is in Russian and another third in Japanese. Spent a month transliterating id3 tags when I got my iPod years ago.

Hope you feel better!
