It is 2:30am and we just finished deciding our wedding music.

...elope. No, we've spent too much money to elope...

We have an 'interesting' set of 'important bits' music. Unfortunately, I've been sworn to secrecy regarding details. ^^

This, too, shall pass.

I remember staying up to ungodly hours, discussing details. Music wasn't so bad for us, but I remember seating (given our ~125 guests) was a real pain. More than once, and with varying degrees of seriousness I suggested that eloping sounds like a great idea. After the fact I don't regret a minute of it, even the arguing, but damn, $10 and a ladder sounded damn good sometimes.

Yeah... well, it turns out that this is going to be an even smaller wedding than we had expected (my friends outnumber every other category of guests), but that is probably not going to be a bad thing. ^^

I'm pretty sure everybody who has ever planned a wedding has considered eloping. My parents, since it was not the first wedding for either of them, actually did elope.

I can't tell you whether a non-elopement wedding is worth the effort. But I can tell you this: you're almost done. Just a little over a week, and you'll be done. And anything you happen not to finish or that goes wrong at the last minute? Story fodder.
