Ick. Drink plenty of water. Once it's healed to the itchy stage, bathe in oatmeal and tea (four bags of black tea and one half-cup of oatmeal to a full tub). Drink more water. You need a lot of water to heal a burn.

Lukewarm bath, I should say. The closer to body temperature, the better. If it's too cold, it'll slow healing, and if it's too hot, it'll do extra damage. As long as it doesn't feel actively hot (to unburned skin) or cold, it's fine.

The thing is, it's just the tip of my left ear and a quarter-sized spot on my back that just don't want to heal - I'm not sure I want to take such hefty measures for something that's so 'small.'

Oh. That's not so bad, I guess. Probably hurts, though. *comforts*

Yeah. I hate those. Fortunately, it's only happened 3 times. And I wish it was only a couple small places. Gorram Irish skin. >.<

I'm fresh back from Pennsic XXXV, Part I. Spent 3 days living in the heat and working to build an Italian piazza in the sun. Somehow I managed not to burn at all. Hopefully you're not trying to balance reality by burning for me. I suggest you stay away from the evil daystar next weekend as I participate in Pennsic XXXV, Part II.
