Finished Disgaea 2, this time without the long, painful levelling at the end. Attribute this primarily to obsessively reincarnating my characters every time a new version of their character class came available, and running through item worlds frequently. Note: while Disgaea 2 and Disgaea are very, very similar systems, there are a few things which may bite you if you're not paying attention. Like element specific spells also being affected by the elemental affinities of the characters casting them - thus making my former Wind Mage now Star Mage with -50% wind affinity next to useless with wind spells. Be warned. Look for subtle differences.

Trying to consider what to do next. Need to keep forward progress with FFXII (must finish next dungeon with too many bloody monsters who use status ailments like "Don't Act" - unfortunately, all attempts to acquire a Ribbon have been less than successful), but given the slowness of the game, considering picking up something else as well. Maybe Shadow Hearts: From the New World, which genedefect has been suggesting I start and finish for quite a while. (Can't blame him - while playing Disgaea 2 and FFXII, there've been several occurrences where I've wanted to talk about something and had to clamp down firmly on my tongue.) Of course, also need to finish Enchant Arm as well...

Hopefully will be able to acquire food, preferably sushi(/gyoza/tempura) at a kaiten place. However, as it is just past 9, this may not be possible.

I really, really liked Shadow Hearts FTNM. Not that this means much, since we clearly have very, very different tastes in RPGs, but I liked it.
