The parallels are somewhat thin, but I can't help but think of this as the first step towards Gattaca.

It's just in the sense of being able to claw into someone's private life by using something which can be easily obtained without the other person's consent. Especially with the recent discussions of company programs where they may require you to quit smoking, lose weight, etc., or they will find a way to make you non-eligable for health insurance as a cost cutting measure.

Sigh.

Cops already trick people into giving them fingerprint samples. This is just another step in the same direction. Remember, if we don't allow jackbooted thugs to pound our faces into the dirt, then the terrorists will destroy our freedom!
