[Current Mood |jubilantjubilant]

I did it... by the skin of my teeth. The last boss sucked majorly. I just barely managed to pull it out with the SRX.

But... happiness and joy. They left it very open for the sequel (unsurprising), but I was surprised at the fact they managed to by and large wrap up the two major villians in one (bloody marathon) battle. (Three parts. THREE PARTS?!)

I'll probably buy the sequel, but I'm going to wait a while before I play it. SRW was a heavy strain.

Need to figure out what I want to play next now...

So was the final boss from a series, or an original character?

Well, everything in the game is classified by a series. His appears to be an original series created for SRW and then spun off later, though cyfis could correct me if I'm wrong.

I'd probably be able to get more informaion if this bloody computer supported Japanese. SRW doesn't appear to be well known outside of Japan. Of course, that makes a reasonable amount of sense, given that it's never been released outside of Japan...

The final boss is original, but he's an original character from a different SRW spinoff, as are Ingram, Viletta, Rebi, and the SRX crew. In fact the entire cast of "original" characters saving the protagonist are from other SRW series. They've been going on for so long that several of the original plotlines, most notably SRX and Masoukishin, have developed into mini-"series" of their own.

Thanks. I remember fighting Oldna Poseidal from L-Gaim back on one of the old PlayStation games. I think that was the last stage, but I don't know if he was the last boss of the stage. He was the last boss as far as my characters were concerned, if you know what I mean.

They get confusing with multiple bosses. I think traditionally after F the final bosses have always been original characters, although they may or may not have had other series' final bosses sharing the stage with them.
